Description: Price reduced. Very rare Globus chronograph from the late 1960s-early 1970s. Absolutely stunning looking. EB-8420 17-jewel Swiss watch movement was recently rebuilt at Timekeepers in Barrington, IL. Fully functional, runs strong, and keeps accurate time. Runs about 30 hours when fully wound (awfully good for a 50 yr old watch) Outer bezel is bi-directional. It has very little scratching free. Bezel includes dive watch style time elapsed markings and final fifteen minutes also has countdown markings in 5-minute increments. Very unusual. Inner compressor bezel is operated using the second crown at 10:00 position. Comes with what might be the original rubber tropical band. It's a dazzling watch and you are unlikely to see another one.
