Description: Antique 1886 Glass Measuring CupFresh from a Dallas estate, this is an antique measuring cup by Silver and Company made between 1878 and 1886. The design is thick clear glass with embossed measurements/conversions on all sides. It notates specific measurements for coffee, cream, butter, eggs, flour and sugar. The bottom is also embossed and reads, "Silver & Co Patd Apl 30-78 May 11-86 New York." The glass measures 7 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" across widest point. This piece is in excellent condition with NO cracks, repairs or deep scratches. There are a few tiny fleabite nicks on top edge (most noticeable near the word 'cream') and bottom (near '86').
