Description: This beautiful hexagonal bowl from Noritake Morimura features a hand-painted design of sailboats on placid water from the artist's viewpoint on land (with trees). Made of high-quality porcelain, this antique original piece is a true gem for collectors of Japanese culture and craftsmanship. The bowl is 3-footed and comes in soft shades of blue, pink and lavender, with contracting browns and greens for the landscape. There is gold edging around the rim and on each of the three feet. Perfect for display or everyday use. The bowl is in very good condition. The gold rim has a little wear, but remains intact. The paint on the bowl - both inside and out - is in excellent condition.
