Description: It's hard to describe the beauty of this VERY OLD straight razor, so I have provided plenty of pictures. I estimate the time period of this piece is late 1700's or possibly early 1800's. The blade measures 11/8 at the widest part, and nearly has a 'hollow-ground' construction. The design of this blade would allow it to be sharpened and used for many years. Excellent craftsmanship and amazing beauty are what this unique piece is about. I have owned MANY nice Straight razors over the years, and this is hands-down the coolest one I have ever owned. I have contemplated for some time whether it's time to let it find a new home, and decided to let it go... from the neatest piece in my collection, to likely the neatest one in yours.
