Description: This is a heavy duty glass cocktail shaker featuring colorful drink recipes. Recipes include: Apple Jack, Side-Car, Gin Fizz, Manhattan, and Porto Flip. THESE RECIPES ARE IN FRENCH but still understandable: "j1 Pincee de noix de muscade" and "Jaune D'Oeuf" may need Google Translate, but Scotch Whiskey, Cointreau, and Bourbon are easy to figure out! If you've looked at other listings, you will see that the lid is the weak link on this vintage item. The lid looks to be chrome but is actually a silver coated black plastic. The silver coating is fragile, so I have seen many listings were the lids are damaged and in ugly shape. This one is comparably quite good! There are only a few minor spots of missing silver which you should be able to see in the photos. Consequently this piece has a "good side" if used for display. If for actual use to make drinks, then you probably are not concerned about the silver damage. Both lids are included!!! The top cap as well as the shaker top. It is a solid friction fit with the bottom glass and would hold together if you want to use it. I prefer the Boston shakers myself so have never pulled this one out. The glass portion is in great shape! No cracks or chips. Colors of recipes are bright with no ugly blemishes to detract. Ready to shine on your vintage bar-ware cart!!
