A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND LOVELY CIRCA 1910 SOLID 18K SOLID GOLD SOUGHT AFTER FABULOUSLY DECORATED ENAMELED CASE HALF HUNTER FOB WATCH IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION WITH VERY UNUSUAL RED ENAMEL WORK TO THE FRONT!. FITTED WITH A BEAUTIFUL MOVEMENT!! CASE: The 4 piece HALF HUNTER case to this beautiful watch is solid 18k gold with a GILT METAL (Not gold) dust cover. The case has an absolutely STUNNING hand engraved pattern to the front and rear. The front cover has a chapter ring that has beautiful gold colored Arabic numerals on a fabulous IRREDESCENT RARE RED background that are in EXCELLENT condition showing no wear under magnification. All of the covers snap 'to'.The rear of the case has a fabulously engraved set of initials on it in a beautiful typeset. The dust cover is GOLD COLORED METAL. It is in good condition showing a light patina in places. I have gently polished the case. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.0CMS (30mm) ACROSS. All of the covers are fully marked for solid 18k gold, apart from the dust cover which is metal. DIAL:This lovely collectible watch has a STUNNING original bright white enameled dial. It is unsigned, and is showing no damage, just some light dirt marks. It has beautiful sharp and crisp Arabic black painted numerals. The outer small crystal is glass. It may be the original and is in excellent condition showing just a little normal wear in places. The watch has its inner bezel which is fitted with a good condition crystal. The beautiful antique spade design watch hands are in excellent condition with the original 'Double Spade' hour hand fitted.　MOVEMENT:This is a lovely condition TOP QUALITY Swiss made crown wind and pin set cylinder movement. which was typical of the movements at this time. It has minty steel screws. The watch runs well, and starts to tick after 2 or 3 turns of the crown. The watch is in good working order but as always, a full service would be recommended for optimum running and performance. The watch has kept time to within a few mins per day. The solid gold crown and gold plated chain ring look to be original and are in good condition with the chain ring showing light normal age related wear. Please remember that vintage watches have survived for many decades by being treated well. Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day. They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service.
