Description: A nice oil portrait painting on artists paper laid to a chamfered wood panel of Dutch golden age painter Paulus Potter after Bartholomeus van der Helst’s original. This painting likely dates to the late 18th century and has two collection tags, a red wax seal, and pencil verso. There are old hand made iron nails holing the painting to the frame. It is well done and in good condition considering age/medium used. There is normal surface wear, scattered small losses mainly at edges, scattered small areas of paint loss/marks, toning, scattered small areas of the paper bubbling up a touch from the wood panel, etc. It is housed in an antique ebonized wood frame. It is in good condition overall with scattered finish wear, scattered bumps, and inactive wormwood. Please see all photos for condition. A fine addition to your collection! Ships well packed and fully insured!!!! Approx 27.75" x 24" framed
