Excelsior Park Chronograph Pocket Watch, Custom Wristwatch Conversion

Description: Antique Excelsior Park Chronograph Custom Pocket Watchto Wrist Watch Conversion This beautiful mechanical, hand wind, wrist watch is crafted from an Excelsior Park, Swiss chronograph pocket watch movement, circa early 1900's. The movement is properly branded under the dial. The movement is visible thru the rear glass.The nickel plated movement has undergone a complete restoration service including being disassembled, cleaned, oiled, timed, and fitted into a new, stainless steel wrist watch case that is 48mm diameter excluding crown, 53mm with crown, 58mm across lugs, and 15.25mm thick.The custom copper dial has a sub-dial for the seconds hand at the 9 o'clock position and another for the 30 minute timer at the 3 o'clock position. Hours and minutes are engraved. The movement itself is clean for its age however there are some minor blemishes.The Blued hands are a beautiful match for this watch as is the stainless crown and timer push button.The new case features an exhibition cover to reveal the amazing inner workings of the movement. Setting is accomplished by pulling out and rotating the crown.The timer is activated by pushing the button on the crown. A push to start, next push to stop, and last push to reset. The watch is not waterproof.
