French Work Wear Grey and Blue Plaid Vintage C1930s

I LOVE wearing plaid button ups like this with blue jeans or as pajamas - they are just so versatile! This fantastic vintage textile dates to somewhere in between the 1930s and the 1940s France and is the most beautiful blue plaid shirt. A nice sturdy cotton that is strong enough to withstand working conditions, but soft enough to add comfort to everyday life, this shirt was made to be lived in and loved in! The buttons extend about halfway down the shirt, making it the perfect pullover top! As it has been worn for many years, there are some signs of wear and tear - be sure to check photos and the condition description down below! APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS : Length: 25 inches Sleeves: 4 inches Chest: 42 inches around Waist: 43 inches around Shoulders: 17 inches CONDITION : This shirt is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are a couple inches of frayed edges throughout the collar (see photos for more details). There is a small, about 1.5 inches long, red line stained on the bottom right side of the shirt front. Under the left-facing arm, there is a pea-sized hole where the seam has come undone, and on the right-facing underarm there is about a centimeter-long stretch where the stitching is starting to unravel. It appears the first button down from the collar has been replaced by a previous user and is different from the rest - a feature that highlights just how unique vintage pieces can be! Some edges and seams are slightly worn down, showing the love and use this shirt has been shown throughout its lifetime! Shirt 7783
