There is some wear on the trim and some scratches commensurate with age.⦁All decals appear intact with small scratches (see photos) on top of lid decal.⦁The platinum trim is bright and shiny with hardly any wear on the lid, but the platinum trim on the dish itself is worn (see photo).⦁The inside unglazed rim is discolored from cooking (see photos).⦁What appears to be a chip in the rim of the lid is actually a vent groove for steam. ⦁This casserole is in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips.⦁ Please see photos for details. "Silhouette" was made as a premium for the Geo. F. Hellick Coffee Company. A Hellick advertisement dated July 1947 features this casserole (see photos). Please see photos.
