L181 - Peppermint Bristlenose Pleco 1.5"+ AA Grade

Description: 1x L181 Peppermint Pleco AA Grade 5+ month old fish at 1.5" - Visible spots and white banding (tail) About My Fish Parent fish are 3 years old. Male parent is 4.5" and Female parent is 4" from a breeding L181 group.Plecos are 5+ months or older. Plecos will have small tiny spots with a dark black body (darker than regular plecos). White banding at the edge of the tail fin will go away as they mature and only appear for young fish These look like L183's but these are L181's. They have similar spotting pattern but the spots are more consistent through out the body. They have 8 sort rays on the dorsal compared to the 9-10 of the L183's. These fish are cheaper than L183's =)These fish like are Bristlenose pleco with both males and females having bristles around their face. Males have more bristles than females. Females tend to get 2 small bristles at the early age. Diet L181 plecos are not very picky eaters but I provide them with quality food similar to my BN plecos. The main foods listed are my go-to food for my plecos but other food can be introduced by gradually feeding it to them. This ensures the fish have a varied diet. I have been only feeding them these foods. Fish are put on fasting 24 hours before being shipped. Reduced fish poop in the bag ensures better survival during shipping. Fish are professionally packed. Fish are individually double-bagged using 4 mil polybags (total 8 mil for 2 bags) that are sealed with an impulse sealer. I also use pure oxygen for each bag. Inner bags have the corners sealed diagonally to prevent ship from getting squished at bag corners. See PICTURES Fish are shipped in Styrofoam insulated box. I use a hot wire cutter for my insulation. Fish are shipped in large 12" x 9" x 9" boxes. Boxes have "Live Fish" stickers since orders are all tagged as USPS "Live animal - other" shipments.
