Description: A lovely specimen of the Cope-designed Calypso guitar player with a dog, barrel, and bananas, from the late 1050s. Beautiful intact cold paint. As with many of these Cope designs, it really sets an evocative scene -- is the dog seeking shade in the Caribbean heat, or not liking the guitar playing? In excellent condition -- cold paint in near-perfect shape, no crazing or damage, just in great shape. About 5" high and 7.5" long. This offering is part of our slow-motion estate sale -- Mother collected McCoy for about 40 years, with all periods represented in her vast collection, so let us know if you are looking for a particular McCoy piece. Each item will be meticulously cleaned and shipped with the utmost care. We try to use all recycled/reused boxes and packing materials, so the box you receive may not be beautiful, but rest assured, your item is safe! (I used to ship eggs from our farm, as far as Alaska!) Hoping to find good homes for Mom's treasures!
