Description: FYI - these emblems were not originally painted blue; this was done by the previous owner. Original 1946-47 Oldsmobile hood emblem/ornament. This also comes with the original nuts and washers. These and the stems are a bit rusty. Part # 418554 7001J Condition: there will be some work involved to restore this to its original glory but if not for restoration it would look good as a rustic display piece. Chrome is bubbling heavily towards the top but much less towards the bottom. There are about 1/2 a dozen distinctive dents/scratches that gouge into the metal. They are not huge but would be an annoyance for a restoration project. Light surface rust on the back and one of the bolt stem is bent. There is a notch at the top back edge which is an originally manufactured notch. Dimensions (approx. +/- 1/8"): L 2-3/8 x H 6-9/16" x W 1-1/8" (W - includes stems)
