Description: Original serigraph print by Alexandria VA (DC area) artist Betty Kubalak. Titled “Low Tide,” this was second in a short run of 12. Signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. Great bright soft springy colors and a tranquil scene. The image is 11x17” and total size of the frame is 19.5x25.25”. Betty Kubalak was one of the founding members of the Printers’ Guild at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Old Town Alexandria. The Torpedo Factory is next to one of the city’s marinas so maybe an inspiration? Most of her work I’ve seen tends to be more abstract than this one. As you can tell from my presence in the photos 😉 it might benefit from some non-glare glass but it’s a quality frame job otherwise.
