RARE Vintage 1956 Female Woman Mannequin D.G. Williams JOAN CRAWFORD Elura Wig

Description: ***While standin_man_mercantile is a relatively new account, I have been selling on eBay for many years under the account discombobulated*automaton*incorporated and have hundreds of happy customers, so have confidence buying from me. For sale is a rare, vintage mannequin, made in 1956. by D.G. Williams INC, New York City, New York. She is stamped as being made "Sep 7th 1956" and is described as "Fig Woman". She is a Christmas/seasonal mannequin made in the likeness of Joan Crawford AKA Mommy Dearest. This is truly a RARE find. She's all original. Minus a couple of crack lines in her fingers, she's flawless. I normally would be keeping her, but need to make room for an upcoming move. She is tall; almost 5"10 (70 inches). DG Williams was the premier high-end mannequin manufacturer in the 1950's, 1960's andd through the mid-1970's and any store that bought DG Williams mannequins, which at the time were the highest priced mannequins, it would be comparable to a store using Adel Rootstein mannequins today. Please note that I prefer local pickup for her (in the Chicagoland area). However, she CAN be shipped since she comes apart...but shipping would be expensive and she's too heavy to be mailed USPS. She would likely need to be mailed in two separate boxes. *Please note that props are not included.
