Description: I am 87 years old and bought these Mr & Mrs Santa in 1960’S at our Sibley's department store here in Rochester. They are in excellent condition, only displayed at Christmas. As with many collectibles, early examples of Annalee Mobilitee Dolls are most valuable. In 1950 Barbara established ‘Annalee Mobilitee Dolls,’ a handmade wire and cloth doll brand doll made in Meredith, NH USA. These hard to find handmade wire and cloth dolls are very collectible. Annalee Mobilitee dolls have felt heads with intricately painted facial features and white hair., bodies are made of study felt, the clothes are cotton. They are wearing matching Christmas clothing and measure about 17 inches for Mr. Santa and 15" for Mrs. Santa. After Christmas I stored may Annalee dolls in tissue and placed in large containers.
