Regular Spray & 30 Door Dry Rack (Paint & Store 30-Cabinet Doors On Both Sides)

Description: Door Rack Painter Combo - Rotating Spray & Upgraded 30 Door Dry Rack With Wheels.(Sawhorse is Not Included)Check out the new 2022 version of our 30-door dry rack with wheels. The rotating spray rack and 30-door dry rack with wheels can paint and store 30 cabinet doors with wet paint on both sides horizontally. In addition, this newer model dry rack is much lighter than the older version; therefore, it is much easier to assemble and transport.Thousands of our racks have been used daily worldwide since 2008 by professional painters. (We improved the quality with our newer design as well)This stacking method is an incredible space saver that improves labor costs, and it also solves the ongoing storage space issue that painters usually experience when painting cabinet doors. In addition, we provide assembly instructions plus an assembly video link. (See videos on how it works)Doors can be sprayed with the rotating dry rack on both sides and then laid into the dry rack with wet paint on both sides.Strong aluminum rods are bent at an angle to minimize contact. We recommend a 24" to 29" high wood sawhorse (sawhorse is not included). The rotating spray rack can easily be switched over to paint only on one side of the door by placing the doors onto the plastic caps in the center of the platform. All the dry racks come with pre-drilled screw holes to attach the wood rod add-ons to make it a one-side cabinet painting system that can store 40 to 60 doors painted on one side.Wood rod add-ons are not included, except if it says so in a specific combo.See how it works, paste & copy any of the YouTube video links below into your browser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHWBCUshaDYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvW9w5oBGNkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA1rBKrmOL4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB-aOHdoWa8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4JZF_owDEghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwL4R8tfek4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KDBJiVX208https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7fFYNuHL3sMethod that enables to paint both sides leaving no marks Back-side firstAlways paint the back-side first. On the back-side, apply a light coat of paint, as if the door was sprayed vertically, to avoid drips when turning the door upside down.Don’t spray the sides yet, grab from the sides with fingers and turn the door around. The least important part of the door is the back edge. Now the painted side will lay, because of gravity, on the bent rods, resulting in minimum contact on the back edge of the interior side. Then front and sides nextSpray the front and the sides. Utilize the grip holders (big or small) to transport. The reason why they are called grip holders is that it allows transporting a totally wet door holding the back edge of the door at a 45° without slipping with minimal marks. Now the doors are ready to be laid on the drying rack remembering to position the rods for the next door.On the primer coat, is acceptable that you find small marks on the edges. After 2 to 3 coats of paint have been applied, marks that need touch-up are very minimal. Any possible marks are only on the backside edge (the least important part) and can be easily touched up. Using a chip or foam brush tap the edge with the tip.Alternate method - One sideWhen spraying a semi-gloss or gloss finish it’s nice to load up both sides and not have a thin coat on the inside face of the cabinet. After spraying on both sides the primer and the first finish coat, instead of spraying the final coats on both sides, spray the final coat on each side separately using the top of the spray rack.On the 30 door dry rack there' s is space for 30 to 40 doors (depending on the size) painted on one side using the wood rod shelves.Time is being saved by painting the primer and first finish coat on both sides, and completely avoiding any markings by spraying the last coat separately. The combo includes a Rotating Spray Rack and a Dry RackComplete cabinet Door Painting SystemTwo small & 2 big sets of cabinet door grip holders, Two big & 4 small clamps, Two "U" Metal rack fixtures, Four Aluminum rods with red and black plastic caps (caps hold the rods in place), A rotating platform, A Spray gun holder hook (to screw in the side of the sawhorse)120 Aluminum rods with red and black plastic caps for the dry rack. (Caps hold the rods in place)Eight brackets for pole attachmentFour Wheels with brakesFour rack poles and baseA wooden 24" high sawhorse is recommended (sawhorse not included)Using the Door Rack Painter• There is minimum contact on the edge of the door, enabling both sides to be painted and stored without disturbing the wet paint.• Depending on the corners of the cabinet doors you could have a little spot on the edge that can easily be touched up.• But our experience is that if we apply one coat of primer and two coats of finish enamel paint, most of the edges are free of spots and again if there are any left they can be very easily touched up.• Spraying clear lacquer or clear polyurethane will not show any spots.Cabinet DoorsSpray the backside of any cabinet door first with a nice but not too heavy of a coat, but don’t paint the sides yet:• Turn the door by yourself or with a partner by just simply holding onto the sides• Paint the top and the front side of the cabinet door as heavy as you like.• Take the cabinet door grip holder in to your hands and hold them on an angle on both edges of the door.• From here you transport the door painted on both sides to the dry rack. This method works excellent for cabinet doors. You will be able to apply a perfect finish on both sides and transport them without disturbing the wet paint.Actual job sitesAllows to spray and store 18 cabinet doors on both sides simultaneously. Recommended: The newly upgraded 18-Door Dry Rack was improved in 2022; we made it 6″ higher to give a little more space between each aluminum rod. We have been selling the 18-door dry rack since 2008 and have applications in job sites, from residential remodeling to commercial cabinet shops. The rotating spray rack should sit on a wooden saw horse (Saw horse not included). The only cabinet door painting system that lets one paint and dry both sides horizontally almost simultaneously. Basically: Always paint the backside first, don't spray the sides yet; when painting the rear side apply a thin coat just like painting the door hanging up vertically. Grab from the sides and turn the door around. The least important part of the door is the back edge. Now the painted side will lay with almost no contact on the inside edge; it almost hovers mid-air. That will result in the door always drying and sitting on the back edge. Next, spray the front and the sides. When spraying the sides, aim sideways. Many reviews from painters are surprised at how minor the markings are. Then take the grip holders and hold the door at a 45-degree angle again on the inside edge. Every dry rack or spray rack comes with two grip holders; they have a grip on both sides. The reason for the grip so the door is secure when transporting the door to the dry rack. That, again, will end up in minimal markings; If there are any marks on the inside edge after one coat of primer and two coats of finish paint, it's easy to touch up, especially with satin and semi-gloss finish. Take a chip or foam brush, wipe most of the paint off some cardboard, then tap the marks. That should only take a couple of seconds per door. Second method: Spray the primer on both sides, let that dry and then spray the first finish coat on both sides and let that dry, but for the final finish coat, spray the back side only and let that dry and then spray the front and let that dry. That allows one to paint a full enamel coat on both sides, especially with a glossier enamel finish. That eliminates any markings and will save lots of labor time because the primer and first finish coats again get painted on both sides almost simultaneously. Each of our dry racks has pre-drilled holes for wood rod addons to store the doors painted on only one side. They are not included in this combo but can be ordered separately from us on Amazon. The wood rod add-ons come in handy when spraying the final coat one side at a time. (Again, the rod add-ons are not included in this combo) The rotating spray rack and the 18-door dry rack will speed up production with simple mathematics. For example, if one sprays one primer coat and two coats of finish paint on each side of the cabinet door separately and each coat has to dry overnight, that job will take six days. If both sides of the doors are painted simultaneously, the job will take three days. This system will also solve the ongoing storage problem cabinet door painters experience regularly.
