Description: This is a one-of-a-kind Sandworm glass dome display. I made this sculpture with metal and clay, and painted the result by hand. The base is painted sand colors with acrylics, and the worm is attached to the bottom. Removing the worm may cause breakage. I tried to make the sand worm look just like a puppet and even carved out the eyes and then placed them back into the sockets, placed sharp metal to strengthen the gnarly teeth, soaked the worm dentures in mouthwash to get rid of their stink, just kidding... I tried matching what I appreciated in the film. While the dome is removable (this may or may not ship with the glass off, to maximize safety), I would recommend leaving it in place to avoid breakage. There are very sharp wires coming out of the teeth, and metal scraps protruding out of this piece. Coupled with the fragile plexiglass windows, this is NOT suitable for children, homes with inquisitive children or even pet cat children that knock things down from the shelving. Diorama with glass measures around 5" tall x approximately 4" wide. Figure is about 3.5" tall.
