For nearly a century following the Civil War, the abundance of wild plants used in pharmaceuticls made Southern Appalacia the main source for what became known as the crude drug business. In the early 1900s drug making companies opened collection and processing plants in the region. These botanical houses included Blue Ridge Drug Co., Wilcox Drug Co., and S.B.Pinick & Co. S.B.Pinick & Co. was founded in 1914 in Marion, NC. Check out all of my other listings under magicsue2016 - lots of bargains can be found there!!! I WILL COMBINE SHIPPING.
