Here are factory Smith & Wesson Walnut Magna Style service grips for any K or L square butt grip frame revolver. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. These were issued to the Ohio Department of Corrections in the late 1980s to early 1990s on Model 64-5 Revolvers. Construction is cut checkered walnut, with nickel plated brass logo medallions, brass escutcheons and steel or brass screw. These grips fit any Medium Frame Smith & Wesson Post World War II Revolver that has a Square Butt Grip Frame. That includes Models 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 45, 48, 56, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 581, 586, 617, 648, 681 and 686 in square butt grip frame only, mostly manufactured prior to 1996. Model 12 owners may need a substantial amount of fitting, since many of the Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames. Each set has been refinished to Satin semi gloss. Residual surface detractions will be moderate to extensive, principally wear to the checkering and its borders on the right panel. We classify them all as Good Refinish, 70 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photosought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
