Description: Up for consideration today is a neat strike through error found on the reverse of the 72-S Washington Quarter - it appears to be a purple thread that interfered with the strike. Guessing it was retained in the coin for some years until it finally gave way and snuck out. Shake test passed, it is not moving in there. Likely forever stuck to the plastic. Neat piece that’d make a great gift for any error collectors born in 1972. Full proof set included, unopened as it should be. Thanks for lookin
