Description: This is a WW1 Imperial German Army Belt and Buckle that has been turned into what is commonly called a HATE BELT or Souviner Belt. After capture, the belt was used to attach tunic & overcoat buttons (prussian, compagnie and Leibgarde), Spike helmet bavarian cockade, cockade of cap, figure of Schulterklappe, diskus of Gefreiter (Marine, Prussian, Wurttemberg, Baden, Hessen, Mecklenbourg) from German KIAs, WIAs & POWs. This one has 34 German souvenirs. Two figures and a cap cockade are missing. These were done by Soldiers and Marines. The last photo shows a WW1 Doughboy wearing one in France. Very nice !
