Vintage 1950s Dual Fiberglass Shade Floor Lamp Mid Century Modern MCM Lighting

Description: ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage dual fiberglass shade floor lamp. Circa '50s. The base is constructed of brass and metal. The curvature of the brass tubes allows for the shades to nestle into the shape beautifully. The shades are fiberglass, they are beige in color with a black and gold criss-cross designed application to the surface. The shades have the ability to pivot from side-to-side, as well as up and down, and their attachment point. Each shade has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located on the brass cup just above the top shade panel. There are no tags or labels present - we do not know the manufacturer. It'll make a nice addition to any modern interior space. MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached, the lamp stands approx. 60.5" tall x 20"" wide. Each of the shades measures 5" tall x 10" in diameter. The round black metal base measures approx. 11" in diameter. CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition. There is no visible damage that we can see. The round metal black base at the bottom may have been repainted at one juncture in time by a previous owner, but we're not 100% certain. The shades are in great shape as well - no burns, breaks, punctures, creases, repairs, holes, etc. The lacing is intact. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
