Description: It's time for me to thin out my collection of Ceramic Arts Studio figurines. These highly collectable pieces were made in Madison Wisconsin from about 1940 to 1955. They are of high quality and were sold in jewelry, gift, and department stores. Sadly, the company went out of business after the post WW II influx of lower priced Japanese ceramics changed the marketplace. Notice the beautiful hand-painted details on this piece and his whimsical expression.He also has real gold accents which really sparkle. He is sure to bring a smile to one's face every time he's viewed. Great gift idea for the collector, decorator or admirer.
