It was imported by Bateman & Co and the original tag is on the back. ~All hand embroidered! Around the side edges is a gorgeous border. The ground tone is a deeper pale Tabaco it's a cotton with linen weave~ the colors are just fabulous! Greens, browns blues, greens yellow etc ~ this is a wonderful textile and would be super used as a bedcover, curtain, shower curtain ( just use a clear or white plastic shower curtain first ) ~ wonderful rounded corners !! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately : 100 inches wide by 103 inches long ~ CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This textile is dry clean only as to prevent the wool threads from POSSIBLY running! It's in really really lovely condition with light signs of time and use ~ a Beauty! There is some wool thread loss in places to be expected ~ There is a small patch on the back , some pale marks , but generally just wonderful vintage condition !! Inventory: library 14028
