Description: This set of paper mache puppets and stage are all hand made from the 1970s. The set includes 11 wire and string puppets: devil, witch, grandma, mom, daughter, king, queen, princess bride, jester, small boy, and a goblin. The puppets are about 4” tall.The note included says, “This is a hand made puppet theatre. It was purchased in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1976. Given to one as a gift.” Signature is indistinguishable. Puppet theater designed by Karel Franta, it is complete, all the backdrop panels are double sided, the curtain in front rolls up and down, all contents fit into the stage floor box compartment which has a sliding door lid, one track for lid is partially worn off. The box measures 2" x 14" x 23". There are four different scenes; scary woods, kingly palace, outside in a village, and inside a cottage. everything needed to conduct a four-act play.
