Vintage Silver Tree 50s 60s Aluminum Branches Christmas 6’ Tinsel MCM Retro Mod

Description: Early aluminum silver tinsel tree from late 50’s/ early 1960’s Craft House Chicago, Illinois. I have enjoyed this tree for 25 years and now it’s time to let it out into the world for someone else to love! Overall, it’s a great looking vintage tree with normal wear from its 60+ year age and use! All 43 branches are there as well as the 2 piece painted silver wooden pole trunk. The aluminum on branches is mostly there but it may need to be placed onto branches when assembling. It is in pieces or loose on some branches and shimmies up the wire and falls off the end sometimes. You will have some needle loss when you assemble, too (like the Charlie Brown tree, haha) but it still has a lot of life left! The wooden pole has a small zip-tie to support one branch hole that has gotten too large, so that the branch sits in the correct spot and doesn’t droop. Base included is a Jolly Time tree turner (not working) that comes with Jolly Time 1964 original box. 3 wingnuts hold the tree in place with some patient adjusting and looking at tree from front and side. Putting this thing together is holiday fun in itself! Photos show a color wheel that is not included. Tree ships in unbranded cardboard box. Vintage album shown not included.
