Vintage Two Tier Jewelry Box; Drk Cream; Drk Red Moire Satin Velvet Int & Mirror

Description: This beautiful two-tier jewelry box is made of wood and covered in a dark cream colored faux leather. Has a gold scroll and lined design all along the edges of the lid and a gold scrolled design along the bottom front and sides of the jewelry box. The bottom and back side of the jewelry box is plain dark cream with brass hardware holding the lid. An antique solid brass latch opens the two-tier interior with the bottom section lined in a deep red moire satin and divided into three sections. The top section of the interior is held on by brass hardware and lined in a deep red velvet with a middle section to hold rings and 6 small evenly divided sections on either side. The inside lid is lined in a deep red satin material with a gold design and has a diamond shaped mirror edged with a gold design in the center. The dimensions of the jewelry box are 10” long, 7” wide, 3 1/2” high closed and 9 1/2” high fully open. The exact age of the jewelry box is not known but it is believed to be from 1950’s to early 1960’s. The jewelry box is in wonderful vintage condition with expected light markings on the exterior and very minor wear on the edges. There are no cracks, holes, scratches or deep stains or markings on the exterior of the jewelry box. The interior of the jewelry box is in good condition with light wear on the moire satin sections and some markings and wear in a few of the small divided red velvet two-tier sections. There are faint pin hole sized markings in the red satin and few faint markings in the mirror. There are no tears, rips, cracks in the interior sections and no chips, cracks or cloudiness on the mirror. See all photos.
