Description: VINTAGE Randall Made Knives~ Randall Model 18 ~ Crutch Tip. A beautiful crutch tip from our collection. This rare collectible Randall has an approximate overall length of 10-3/4”. The blade is 5-1/2”. I believe the circa of this knife is mid-late ‘64. I found this great description on the internet, which details our knife to the T. “As is typical of the early blades in this model with Sawteeth, the blade stamp is partially removed by grinding the top bevel in the blade”. Randall eventually began to make the top bevel shorter to accommodate their stamp. “The guard is made of the thin brass stock of that era. The Johnson Model C SPLITBACK sheath shows slight signs of verdigris around the harness rivets at the throat.” I would rate the condition of both Knife and Sheath as near mint.
