This is a very unusual and fascinating vintage brooch with a cut-out of Richard III (1452-1485). The back of the Richard III piece shows that it said "Jeanne d'Arc" ~ so I am guessing this was a coin that someone cut. It is set into a frame, and wiggles a bit at the rivet. I don't think you will see another like this! I think it would make a great piece to add to a Ren Fair costume, for men or women! Please expect some surface wear and see all photos for condition.
