This wheel is taller than that size. lf you are restoring an older Schwinn this wheel will be a bit different. You can us it, you will just not be able to use the original Schwinn 26 X 1& 3/8's tires. You will need to get the newer tires which will fit just fine. This wheel is steel and the coaster hub is KT steel.
